How to get notifications of new games from specific developers (iPhone)?

Is there a way on an iPhone to get a notice when a particular developer releases a new app/game?

There are about 30-50 escape game designers, and it's a PITA to keep checking all of them to see when/if they've come out with a new game. Does an app or service exist that allows me to identify/mark/follow the designers I'm interested in, and it will periodically check the App Store to see if they've come out with anything new?

IFTTT seems like it should do this, but although I was able to set up the proper notifications it has only occasionally worked correctly - mostly it sends notifications for the wrong apps or fails to do so for the right ones. So I'm checking for options other than IFTTT.
