Symbols of anger for tattoo

I feel like it's time to get a tattoo, but I'm struggle to find the symbols that will express what I want to express.

I've hit midlife, I have a parent with Alzheimer's, I finally have a clear purpose in life and it's important but terrible, and I feel the time has come for ink. I want something that expresses the milestone I'm at and my feelings about it. These feelings are mostly anger, grief, fear and resignation. But mostly impotent rage.

So far I haven't found any images that speak to me. I'm not interested in images of explosions or violence. The tattoos I find visually appealing are often drawn from nature. I'm okay with my tattoo image being more hopeful than I feel - like a bird or flower associated with a wrathful deity who restores justice.
