I need help buying a turntable set up for a family member in the UK. (I am in the US, and some brands seem not available there.) Must be available online. Help! :)

I am really confused buying a turntable system! This is for a family member for Christmas who I know would love a fairly simple system to pay a lot of vinyl albums that were recently inherited. We nor they have any knowledge about turntables, are not audiophiles, but would like a decent system (so probably no Crossleys.)

But I get confused by all the terminology (amps, etc.), and what speakers to buy with it as well. (Wired is OK, doesn't have to be wireless, though that's OK too!) So can anyone help me with what the best set up that would be fairly simple to use, available in the UK, and preferably under 350 pounds or so? Am happy to ebay if I can do it from my US account.
