I have an emotionally vivid memory of watching an episode of Mork and Mindy where they were held captive by an alien (?) and forced to choose who would live or die. They of course escaped unharmed, but I never forgot the terror of the thought of having to choose between your own death or living with the death of your loved one. But I can't find any record of this episode. I assume I'm making it up, but what other early 80s show might I be confusing it with?
