Morhaime told the media last week on an Activision Blizzard earnings call that Blizzard has more resources dedicated to World of Warcraft now that it ever had before in the history of the franchise.
World of Warcraft currently has 7.6 million users, which is by just 100.000 over the previous quarter, but it is also less than the 10 million subscribers it had at the time of the release of Mists of Pandaria last year. Morhaime stated that Blizzard has adjusted the way that its World of Warcraft development team is organized to allow them to continuously look ahead at the future of the MMO.
